Shipping Method Guidelines
USPS Priority Mail
We have temporarily stopped offering Priority Mail as a shipping option due to frequent transit delays in shipments.
Priority Mail is a relatively fast, inexpensive choice for small shipments where an exact day of arrival is not very critical. Most Priority Mail shipments arrive 2 to 4 days from day of shipment. If you choose this method and you use a P.O. Box for your US Mail, please include that information in your shipping addess. Note that our system only offers the Priority Mail option for small shipments. Please check your email (and possibly your junk inbox) for a tracking email from us to gauge your order's arrival date.
FedEx Ground
FedEx Ground is a cost-effective choice for large shipments. In the summer months (May-August), we generally do not recommend ground shipping for perishable products if you are located four or more ground shipping days from our location in Madison, WI. We also prefer to avoid shipping over a weekend (which extends the number of days in transit). Please refer to the map below to estimate the number of days your shipment will be in transit.
FedEx OneRate
FedEx OneRate is an economical, fast shipping option for small packages. OneRate gets from us to anywhere in the U.S. in two business days. It is an affordable, fast option but is limited to smaller packages. If this option does not appear for you on the checkout page, it is because your shipment is too large for this service.
FedEx 2-Day
FedEx 2-Day is our recommended shipping method in the summer if the destination address is more than three days from our facility (please refer to Ground map above).
FedEx Next Day
FedEx Next Day (times vary, but generally guaranteed by 4:30 p.m. local time, one business day from shipment) is available to certain addresses. Please contact us if you need to arrange a Next Day morning delivery (available only to certain addresses) at additional cost.
